Carlos Veliz

Carlos brings an expertise of over 20 years of asset management, beginning his real estate journey after graduating from California State Northridge.

Carlos brings an expertise of over 20 years of asset management, beginning his real estate journey after graduating from California State Northridge. He quickly ascended through the ranks of Rose Equities headed by his mentor Leonard Glickman in Beverly Hills. Through careful financial analysis and a watchful eye on the budgetary limitations of those assets, Carlos was able to grow the equity firm 10x in average value. After the real estate recession in 2008, Carlos took his entrepreanurial chops to Northern California to headline a growing construction and development company. Using it as a springboard to asset management, he built a “one-stop” shop for property owners, investors, and commercial businesses to offer construction, development, property maintenance, and asset management for his portfolio worth over $500 million.

He now transitions his experience to brand new multi-family developments worth over $5 million per property to provide affordable and tranquil housing for Blue Collar America. Believing that giving our blue collar demographic a home worth calling “home” is imperative, it allows him to manuver real estate strategics, which not only yields lasting profits for investors, but allows them to feel good about their investment going to a cause that isn’t common in other investment firms.

Deven Gurnani

Building and scaling organizations isn’t something new to Deven, he brings a collaborative experience from the public and private industry.

Building and scaling organizations isn’t something new to Deven, he brings a collaborative experience from the public and private industry, educating the internal orginzations and public on fiscal growth, measuring qualitative data, and when to make right move to grow ones financial portfolio. Deven has built a flourishing an asset maintenance company to provide all the request and general upkeep all the properties in the portfolio would need. Seeking out partnerships and developing the business pro-rata with commensurate acquisitions. Outside of assisting others in the asset maintenance, Deven has his own individual residential investment projects. The take away from Deven, is his mission to provide clear and concise communication on the available investments and current investment opportunities for the public. During his personal time, Deven is an avid volleyball and soccer player, a homegrown San Francisco 49ers fan, father to two wonderful boys, and husband.

Jaime Sanford

Jaime oversees asset management at Anchor Real Estate Investment. She has 6+ years of real estate experience and over 12 years in a variety of marketing and sales roles.

Jaime oversees asset management at Anchor Real Estate Investment. She has 6+ years of real estate experience and over 12 years in a variety of marketing and sales roles. Jaime earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and currently holds a real estate salesperson license through the California Department of Real Estate. She is also a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), and is experienced in overseeing a portfolio of Homeowner's Associations located in the Bay Area and greater Sacramento region.

- At Anchor Real Estate Investment, Jaime focuses on property performance, meeting insurance requirements, and serves as a point of contact for third-party management partners. She is very involved in every phase of the development process from the close of escrow to the lease-up of the project, as well as reporting to investors on overall project performance. Jaime sees every challenge as an opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally.

Frank Thomas

Frank Thomas has a passion for real estate, construction, and their related businesses.

Frank Thomas has a passion for real estate, construction, and their related businesses. His interest was ignited back in 2003 when he went to work for Ryland Homes (now Lennar Corporation), a Fortune 500 company and one of the nation’s top ten largest homebuilders by revenue and number of homes built. Frank played an integral part in the company’s success and would eventually become an executive and one of the top 60 people in the company. After over a two decade career working in and around the real estate and construction industries and as an investor, Frank was prompted by long-time friend, Carlos Veliz, to join him in meeting a pain point that he identified in the HOA (homeowners association) management industry: volunteer boards of HOAs and HOA management companies are inundated with simple daily repairs and maintenance and challenged with expensive, longer term, capital projects, but lack the time to source reliable and trustworthy vendors and do not possess the knowledge and expertise to ensure vendor project scopes are correct and are completed as required. To meet and mitigate this pain point, Frank with Carlos, co-founded Guardian Project Management Services. Frank is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. His number one desire and commitment is to support HOA boards of directors and management companies in meeting their community’s needs.
